Hallo & Welcome back.
Was gehört zu einem perfekten Café? - Barrierefreiheit.
What should be part of the perfect Café? - Barrier-freedom. A barrier-free entrance and a barrier-free toilet.
And that's what I've found in Klagenfurt now.
The café's name is CatnCoffe. Strange? - It is a café with cats running around! There are a lot of these kind of cafés already in Asia but not in Europe.
But for cat lovers this is the perfect café. You can drink something, eat a little snack and play with the cats or cuddle with them. You can also buy goodies for the cats,
I am so enthusiastic about this and whenever I have some money left I know where to spend it now.
I didn't take a lot of pictures, but I got one for you.

Helfen lassen - Accepting someone's help
Hallo & Welcome back.
There was a radio session about the new law when it comes to barrier-freedom.
I am very happy that everyone is talking about it now. But it is kinda late as the law takes effect with the first january of 2016 and we have this law already since 2006 (10 years). And I realised once again that so many don't accept help.
I am a bit different.
Of course I feel more comfortable in my electronical wheelchair: I am self-dependent and it is just better to sit in there. But I am also aware that even if we have a law not everything will be barrier-free with the start of 2016. At least not when it comes to an electronical wheelchair.
But it is a bit different with my active wheelchair (the one others have to drive with when I sit in there). I often use it when I know that something isn't barrier-free. People can easily transport me and I am happy about that. People do it by their own choice and so my friends don't have to give up on their plans.
Of course I could be also transportet with my electronical wheelchair - but it would take a lot more voluntary people (about 5). But nothing is impossible.
And in my point of view other wheelchairs should start to rethink. We are in Austria and yet the law will take off with the beginning of 2016 but there will be still a lot of things which won't be barrier-free. Of course that is a pity, but if you find possibilities to be part of something you shouldn't say: "I am still not going because it isn't barrier-free." - I said things like that before, but most of the time only because I had a bad day and I still went to the event anyway.
I know that barrier-freedom isn't only for wheelchair-users but also for other handicapped people. But I am just writing about my experience.

Gesundheit - Health
Hallo & Welcome back.
From time to time people come into my life and ask: "Isn't it possible to heal this?" - No, it isn't.
But guys, I feel healthy. Yes, I do so. My wheelchair replaces a few things I couldn't do without him. And thanks to my carer / assistance I can live away from home.
But I am not sick and I don't have to be healed.
I am sick whenever I have to get into the hospital because of intense ache, or because I have a cold. Yes, I feel sick then, just like everybody else does.
But I live as everybody else, as everybody who isn't handicapped. Of course with some helping resources and some things just take longer. I get up in the morning, then I get ready for the day, I check what I have to do, eat something, and then I do everything I have to do. And sometimes I also do some unplanned things.
These are enough reasons which show that I am healthy, aren't they?!
