Barrierefreiheit beim One Direction Konzert in Wien

First of all I would like to translate the title: Barrier-free One Direction Conzert.

Wenn ihr mir auf Twitter und/oder Instagram folgt wisst ihr, dass ich am 10. Juni auf dem One Direction Konzert war.
Ich war dort mit meiner langjährigen Freundin Nadine und wir hatten echt viel Spaß. Außerdem war ich das erste mal ohne Eltern in einer anderen Stadt inklusive Übernachtung - eine Premiere also.

Das Konzert war einfach total geil und unbeschreiblich. One Direction war das erste mal in Wien und mir kommt vor, dass wir ihnen einfach das Gefühl übermittelt haben dass es uns gar nicht stört wenn Zayn nicht mehr dabei ist. Bei uns gab es auch keine Buh-Rufe.

Leider muss ich dem Ernst-Happel-Stadion eine Kritik aussprechen. Die Toiletten beim Sektor E waren abgeschlossen. Also gab es kein benutzbares BehindertenWC. Wir hatten das Glück, dass ein Security-Typ so nett war und uns rausgelassen hat damit wir draußen das barrierefreie DixiWC nutzen konnten. Danach hat er uns - trotz schon abgerissenen Karten - wieder reingelassen.
Aber während dem Konzert gab es natürlich keine Möglichkeit mehr - auch nicht mehr während der Vorband. Und wenn man bedenkt, dass wir schon um 16:45 im Stadion waren bis ca. 10 ist das schon eine laaange Zeit.

Bevor ich nun zu den Fotos komme wollte ich euch noch DIESEN BLOGPOST verlinken, da es hier auch um das Konzert geht - eine Freundin von mir war auch dort.

It was my first trip to another city without my parents inclusively sleeping there. I went to Vienna with my friend Nadine.
The concert was wonderfull and the boys had a great feeling singing for the crowd in Vienna for the very first time.

BUT I have to tell you something.
Sector E was the sector we were placed in but the Ernst-Happel-Stadion kept the toilets closed there.
The security man was very nice and gave us the possibility to go out of the stadion again and let us in again afterwards. 
However I think this has been a BAD organisation on sides of the Stadion.

But as you can tell from the pictures we had a great time and I guess you may see who is my favourite of the boys ;)

lauraimrolli in Amsterdam

Wer mir auf Instagram folgt weiß, dass ich vor einigen Wochen in Amsterdam war.
Ich möchte euch heute erzählen, wie es dazu kam, ob es mir gefallen hat, und ob ich euch die Stadt mit einem Rollstuhl empfehle oder nicht.

Also ich bin nach Amsterdam geflogen um eine Freundin zu besuchen, die derzeit dort als Au-Pair arbeitet. Außerdem ist mein Stiefcousin derzeit auch dort - für ein Auslandssemester.
Also habe ich mich mit meinen Eltern auf den Weg nach Amsterdam gemacht.
Eigentlich habe ich mich gefreut, auch wenn ich vorher gelesen hatte, dass nicht alles barrierefrei ist da die Stadt ziemlich alt ist.

Doch der erste Schock kam schon in der Hotelgegend. Es war eigentlich total dreckig rund herum, und das Hotel war nicht viel besser. Außerdem war es definitiv nicht barrierefrei.
Ich spreche hier vom Blue Tower Hotel in Amsterdam und möchte euch einfach nur warnen. Für Rollstuhlfahrer ist DAS definitiv nichts. Und auch für alle jene unter euch, die ziemlich empfindlich sind was Sauberkeit betrifft, ist das Hotel auch nichts.

Den ersten Tag in Amsterdam haben wir im Regen verbracht. Wir waren in einem Museum, Essen, und in einem Einkaufszentrum.
Am zweiten Tag waren wir wieder in einem Museum und dann sind wir durch die Stadt spaziert. 
Und das Amsterdam nicht sonderlich barrierefrei ist, fiel mir bei der Klosuche auf. In der Stadt war einfach kein BehindertenWC zu finden! Und dann gingen wir in dieses Einkaufszentrum. Wo wir eingesperrt wurden. LACHT JETZT NICHT. Aber ja, es war lustig. Kamen dann doch irgendwie raus - weil jemand den Securitymann gerufen hat. Aber ja, das ist auch Inklusion!

Alles in allem ist Amsterdam keine Stadt, wo ich noch einmal hin möchte. Ich hab es einmal gesehen und das hat mir gereicht. Es ist definitiv nicht sonderlich barrierefrei und die Pflastersteine machen es nicht viel einfacher. Mit dem Bus zu fahren ist einfach nur lebensgefährlich - vor allem Nachts - und bei den Straßenbahnen gibt es keine Rampe. So.
Und die Häuser kann man sowieso nur von außen sehen. Außer die Neueren, aber die Neueren haben wir doch sowieso überall.

I went to Amsterdam because a friend of mine works there as an au-pair right now. And also my stepcousin is there right now.
I was kinda excited even though I knew that Amsterdam is not so barrier-free.

But I got the first shock already when getting to the hotel area. It was not very clean and the hotel wasn't either. Also our room was not barrier-free, too little for the wheelchair. So just that you know: if you wanna go to Amsterdam don't check into Blue Tower Hotel in Amsterdam if you are with a wheelchair or if you are used to clean hotel rooms.

As it was raining during the first day in amsterdam we just went into a museum, eating in a restaurant and then we went to a shopping centre.
The shopping centre was barrier-free, of course, but we still got closed in. Long story short: we got out again - that's also inclusion :D

All in all I don't wanna go to Amsterdam anymore. I saw it once. It is definetly not barrier-free. And using the bus is just very dangerous - especially during the night. And they have no ramps in the tram. 
And the houses are beautiful but you can not see them from the inside anyways. So yeah.

Sommerfest - Summerparty

Hallo & Welcome back.

Jetzt, so kurz vorm Semesterende, gibt es wieder Sommerparties ohne Ende.
Da frag ich mich auch immer: WAS SOLL ICH BLOß ANZIEHEN?
Kleider tragen eh fast alle, warum nicht ein Jumpsuit?

Ich liebe gemütliche Jumpsuits die auch noch schön aussehen. Man ist schnell angezogen und sieht dabei auch noch toll aus.
Dazu trage ich die Haare manchmal offen und manchmal zu - so wie auf diesen Fotos.
Viel Spaß bei euren Parties; und vergesst nicht aufs lernen ;)

Jumpsuit: H&M ca. 14€

Shortly before the semester ends a lot of universities and friends are planning some summerparties.
And we are sitting here, thinking about all the outfits. Everyone is wearing dresses, but what about a jumpsuit?

I love jumpsuits. They are very comfortable and easy to wear. Also I like to keep my hair closed when it is still very hot outside, but that also depends on my hair.
Have fun while partying and don't forget to learn for your exams ;)

lauraimrolli beim Eurovision Songcontest 2015

Hallo & Welcome back.

BUILDING BRIDGES war das Motto des diesjährigen Eurovision Songcontest in Wien. Dank Conchita und ihrer tollen gesanglichen, wie auch persönlichen Leistung, war das Finale heuer in Österreich.

Das ich gerne zum ESC 2015 gehen wollte, wisst ihr nach meinem letzten Blogpost wahrscheinlich alle. Was aber davor noch passierte und wieso ICH Conchita treffen durfte könnt ihr HIER nachlesen.

Aufjedenfall ging es am Samstag dann mit dem Taxi und mit meiner Mama zum lang ersehnten Finale. Ich hatte mich total gefreut und muss sagen, dass war in der Stadthalle einfach nur eine riiiiiesige Party!
Also vorm Fernseher sieht man die Acts definitiv besser - das streite ich nicht ab. Aber LIVE beim ESC dabei zu sein ist einfach einzigartig und super lustig!

Ich finde ja, dass das Motto sehr gut umgesetzt wurde. Vor allem die KISS CAM die man nur in der Stadthalle zu sehen bekam hat das sehr gut bewiesen.

Ich will gar nicht lange rumreden; Barrierefreiheit war sowieso kein Problem. Also kommen wir nun zu den Bildern :)

As you may know from my last blogpost I truly wanted to go to the ESC Finals this year but what happened one day earlier and why I met Conchita is all written down in THIS blogpost.

On Saturday my mum and me went to the arena by cab. 
Of course - and that may be no secret - you see more of the acts in TV but being there was just a crazy and probably the best party ever. The feeling was just AMAZING!

And also the realization of the motto was very good! In the arena you could see that very well when they started the KISS CAM.

However I don't wanna say too much; just look at the pictures. The show was definetly barrier-free!

Ja heute geht es um meinen Wunsch bei Make-A-Wish. Warum der Titel? - Das erfahrt ihr im Laufe des Blogposts.

Es begann alles vor rund 2 Jahren als ich einen komplett anderen Wunsch hatte den ich nicht einmal selbst eingereicht habe, sondern eine Gruppe von Mädels die mir diesen Wunsch erfüllen wollten.

Leider hat das nicht geklappt und nach langer Überlegung sagte ich dann zu meiner Mama, dass ich gerne zum Eurovision Songcontest gehen würde und Conchita Wurst treffen möchte. Da dies aber zwei Wünsche sind entschied ich mich dem Team von Make-A-Wish nur den Eurovision Songcontest zu nennen denn ich dachte "wer weiß wen man dort alles so über den Weg läuft" - nun ja, jetzt wo ich dort war weiß ich, dass man schon einige Leute kurz zu Sehen bekommt aber es ist nicht das selbe.
Meine Mama hat natürlich nicht geschlafen und dem Team von Make-A-Wish auch von meinem zweiten Wunsch erzählt.

Ich kam am Donnerstag Abend also in Wien an, wir checkten ins "Park Hyatt Vienna" ein und am nächsten Tag stand um 11:00 ein Pressetermin im "25hours Hotel Wien" an wo es um ein paar Fotos von mir ging und vielleicht ein kurzes Interview - zumindest dachte ich das.
Alfons Haider ist ja der Botschafter von Make-A-Wish Österreich. Ich kam im Hotel an und wurde runtergebracht. Dort waren ziemlich viele Fotografen und Kameras aber ich dachte nur "na wenn die glauben dass ich so viele Kameras um mich brauche" und nach einigen Fotos tauchte plötzlich Alfons auf. Ich dachte mir noch immer nichts und wir haben ein wenig geplaudert. Er fing an, mir Fragen in Bezug auf Conchita Wurst zu stellen. Ich hatte noch immer keinen Schimmer.

Plötzlich stand Alfons mitten im Gespräch auf, ich drehte meinen Kopf nach vorne und plötzlich war Conchita Wurst da. Mir stockte der Atem, dieser Moment war unfassbar und ich konnte meine Tränen nicht mehr zurückhalten. Conchita sagte dann gleich "Du musst doch nicht weinen!" und gesellte sich neben mich. Nach einem kurzen Auflockerungsspruch von ihr - "Zum Glück gibt es wasserfeste Wimperntusche" - wurden dann die ersten verwendbaren Fotos geschossen.
Alfons Haider bat dann die Pressefotografen und alle anderen, zurückzugehen. Er sagte "Das ist deren Moment, also lasst sie bitte in Ruhe sprechen." Ich weiß, dass das die richtige Entscheidung war.
Ich konnte mich wirklich gut mit Conchita austauschen und in Ruhe mit ihr reden. Nur mein Stiefpapa war manchmal in der Nähe um ein paar Fotos zu schießen aber das fand ich schon okey.

Conchita hat mir dann eine CD geschenkt und natürlich auch unterschrieben. Außerdem wollte ihr Team und sie, dass ich einen Make-A-Wish Bären unterschreibe damit sie diesen mitnehmen können. Des Weiteren stand am Tisch eine Torte die für mich gemacht wurde. Conchita fand die so toll und hat sie mitgenommen - find ich voll okey hätte die eh nicht essen können :)

Ich habe dann noch mit Alfons gesprochen und er hat mich auch noch einmal gefragt, ob ich denn nichts geahnt habe. Aber nein, ich hab wirklich geschlafen. Obwohl Alfons bei Make-A-Wish meist dann auftaucht, wenn der Wunsch erfüllt wird. Ich hab es einfach nicht verstanden und war dann umso glücklicher als Conchita auf einmal da war. Sie ist einfach toll!

Es wird zum Eurovision Songcontest Finale einen eigenen Blogpost geben da das nicht alles in einen Blogpost passt!

Why I named this blogpost "Goodmorning Laura" ? - You'll find out in the blogpost.

It all began two years ago when a group of girls send a mail to Make-A-Wish with a totally different wish. Because of some reasons they couldn't make that true and so I started to look for something new I really wanted. I then told my mum, that I would like to go to the Eurovision Songcontest and Meet Conchita Wurst. But as these have been two wishes I wrote Make-A-Wish a Mail that I would to go to the ESC 2015. Why I decided to wish to go there is easy to explain: I thought "you never know who you can meet there". However my mum did not even wait a minute and contacted Make-A-Wish to tell them about my other wish, the one to meet Conchita Wurst.

So it was two (2) days before the Eurovision Songcontest Finals when I came to Vienna and checked into the "Park Hyatt Vienna". One day after - Friday - I had an appointment with Make-A-Wish where they wanted to take some pictures and ask me a few questions. So I came to the "25h Hotel Vienna" at 11:00 am and they brought us downstairs where a lot of people with cameras awaited me. I did not think that something wouldn't be normal. I just said to myself "if they think that I need so many cameras around me then I don't care at all". However after a few pictures the ambassador of Make-A-Wish Austria - Alfons Haider - came. He usually appears when a wish comes true but still I did not notice anything.

He sat next to me and we talked a little bit when he started to ask me, if I met Conchita already and a few other things about her. Suddenly, in the middle of our talk, he stood up, I turned my head around and Conchita Wurst stood there. I couldn't breath normally anymore, I had a little shock, and started to cry because of happiness. Conchita said "Ah you don't have to cry" and sat down next to me. She wanted to loosen up the situation and said "It's good that we have waterproof mascara" and I just had to laugh because of that. After this sentence we took some pictures and then Alfons pleased the press to go away because he wanted this to be a special moment. Now I know, it was the right decision.
I talked with Conchita just as I would have known her since forever. Only my stepfather was around to take a few pictures.

Conchita then gave me her new CD and signed it, of course. She also wanted me to sign a Make-A-Wish Bear so that she could bring it with her. There was also a cake they made for me and she found it so nice, that she brought it with her. I was okey with that, I couldn't have eaten it anyways.

After Conchita went away again I talked to Alfons again and he asked me one more time if I didn't have any idea what would happen that day. But no, I didn't. And it was maybe also good. I was just myself - clothes and make-up just as everytime. And I could just show my feelings without being nervous. I am so happy that I had this beautiful experience with Conchita Wurst.

I will write another Blogpost about me going to the Eurovision Songcontest. Now it would be too much.

Outfit für einen Lerntag - Outfit for a day full of studying

Das Wochenende steht vor der Tür und das Wetter soll ja richtig gut werden.
Trotzdem geht es den meisten wahrscheinlich wie mir: man kann nicht den ganzen Tag beim See verbringen weil man auch lernen muss.
Und ich finde ja, dass zum lernen auch ein gemütliches Outfit dazugehört, dass man schnell wechseln kann falls man doch noch Zeit hat um zum See zu gehen.

Ich habe da was ganz tolles geschenkt bekommen. Das Shirt und die kurze Hose sind von Palmers, es gab sie aber einzeln zu kaufen - also nicht in einem. Das heißt, man kann sich die Sachen zusammenstellen wie man es möchte.
Das Material ist super weil es einfach sehr leicht auf der Haut liegt. Und man kann mit dem Outfit auch einfach mal ins Bett liegen um sich kurz auszuruhen oder man geht in den Garten - wenn man einen hat - und tankt kurz Energie.
Ich mag diese Farben wirklich gerne. Und auch im Studentenwohnheim finde ich dieses Outfit sehr angepasst. Klar tragen das einige als Schlafgewand, ich aber definitiv nicht. Zumindest nicht in der Kombi. Und mit dem Outfit kann ich auch einfach mal vor die Tür rausfahren um mit meinen Nachbarn zu reden oder mal in die Küche fahren um etwas zu essen.
Den Preis des Outfits weiß ich leider nicht, weil ich es ja geschenkt bekommen habe.

Wie ihr sehen könnt, war ich schon am See. // As you can see I got a tan already.

The Weekend is only some hours away and the weather should be really good.
However I know that there are some people out there who have to learn. I am one of them.
And in my opinion the outfit for studying should be comfortable and something you can change very quickly in case you still have time to meet friends at the lake after studying.

I got this as a present. The shirt and the pants are from Palmers, but you don't have to buy them in a package. That means that you can decide how you want it to look like - you can just buy some pants and then the shirt in a different style.
The material is just very soft and thin which is perfect for this time of the year as it can get very hot in your room. And you can even jump into the bed for a little time out or go into your garden if you have one.
I like these colors. And even in the dormitory this outfit should be no problem. Of course for some it may seem as my PJs but I never sleep with that. And with that outfit you can go out on the hallway to talk to the neighbours or also in the kitchen you share with your neighbours to eat something.
I'm sorry but I don't know the price for this outfit as I got it as a present.

Hotel Review: Park Hyatt Vienna

Hallo & Welcome back.

Da ich derzeit in Amsterdam bin wollte ich den Blogpost über meinen Make-A-Wish Wunsch nicht veröffentlichen.
Aber ich dachte mir, ein Review zu einem wundervollen Hotel wär doch auch toll.

Also wir haben, auf Kosten von dem Hotelmanagement und Make-A-Wish, im Hotel Park Hyatt Vienna übernachtet. Ein wunderbares Hotel was sehr rollstuhlgerecht ist. Außerdem ist das Personal wirklich nett.
Man kann zwar nicht den Haupteingang nutzen um hineinzukommen, aber das sollte wirklich kein Problem sein.

Above you can see some pictures of the Park Hyatt Vienna, a wonderfull hotel.
I stayed there but I did not pay it on my own. The hotelmanagement and Make-A-Wish payed, otherwise I couldn't have stayed there for so many nights.

This hotel is barrier-free for wheelchair-users and the staff is truly friendly.
You can not use the main entrance but in my eyes that does not matter at all.
