Keine Kritik weil - No review because

Hallo & Welcome back.

In den letzten Tagen wird im Netz (und vor allem unter Menschen die im Rollstuhl sitzen) viel über den Film "ein ganzes halbes Jahr" diskutiert.
Ist er nun gut, oder doch eher schlecht? Ist es wirklich so falsch darüber zu schreiben (der Film ist ja ursprünglich - wie fast immer - ein Buch), dass einige Menschen mit Behinderung ihr Leben nicht weiterführen wollen?

Ich habe das Buch nicht gelesen. Möchte ich aber tun. Den Film habe ich auch nicht gesehen. Deshalb steht es mir nicht zu, eine Kritik zu schreiben - so wie viele andere Menschen mit Behinderung es tun.
Ich kann nur sagen: Ich finde, dass das Thema nicht so weit hergegriffen ist. Und ich kenne ehrlich gesagt nicht wirklich viele Filme die sich mit genau diesem Thema beschäftigen. Es ist nun mal so, dass einige Menschen nicht mit ihrer Behinderung leben wollen und können.
Trotzdem muss man sich dabei in Erinnerung rufen, dass es auch Menschen gibt, die trotz ihrer Behinderung ein glückliches Leben führen (ICH!!).

Aber wieso schreibe ich keine Kritik - klar, ich hab das Buch nicht gelesen.
Aber wieso habe ich den Film nicht gesehen? - Das hat nichts mit Zeitgründen zu tun. Zeit hätte ich wohl schon gehabt.
Aber die Kinos in denen der Film hier in Kärnten läuft sind NICHT barrierefrei. (Mehr dazu in diesem Blogpost: Keine barrierefreien Kinosäle)
Und es nervt mich - vor allem bei so einem Film. Klar interessiert der Film ALLE - aber er spricht vielleicht auch vor allem Menschen im Rollstuhl an. Und nun kann ich mir - als Mensch im Rollstuhl - diesen Film nicht einmal anschauen.

Darüber sollte vielleicht mal nachgedacht werden - vor allem seitens der Kinobetreiber.
Es gibt einfach noch so viele Dinge die nicht barrierefrei sind. Dazu zählen vor allem auch Großkinos. Kleine Stadtkinos sind meist schon eher barrierefrei als die großen Kinos.

In the last few days the movie "Me before you" has been discussed - especially online and especially from people which sit in a wheelchair.
Is the movie good, or bad? Is it really so wrong to write (there's a book to this movie) about the fact that some people with a disabilty don't want to live on?

I didn't read the book - but I still want to. And I also haven't seen the movie yet.
So I am not able to write a review - just like many other people with a disability did it.
However I can say that I do think that this topic is quite important - and it isn't surreal. And I also don't know many movies which are about this topic. Unfortunately it is the reality that some people can't live with their disability - and they also don't want to.
Anyway we should have in mind that there are many people out there who live a happy life even if they're disabled (ME!!).

But why am I not writing a review - because I didn't read the book.
But why haven't I seen the movie yet? - It has nothing to do with time. I would have had enough time.
But the cinemas which show the movie aren't barrier-free. (More about this topic here: No barrier-free halls)
And I am really not happy about that - especially when it comes to such a movie. Of course the movie is interesting for everybody - but it may address especially people in a wheelchair. And now I can not see the movie - even if I am one of these people in a wheelchair.

The owner of the cinemas should think about that - everybody should. 
There are so many things out there which aren't barrier-free yet. Especially bigger cinemas. The little city-cinemas are mostly barrier-free already, but not the bigger cinemas.
