Ein kleines Update aus meinem Leben: Seit gut einer Woche bin ich nun in meiner Wohnung und ich fühle mich pudelwohl. Es ist hell, nicht laut, gemütlich, sonnig und man kann eigentlich alles auch zu Fuß erreichen wenn das Wetter passt.
Was ihr aber wissen müsst: auch ich musste Kompromisse eingehen. Ich habe bei der Wohnungssuche keine Wohnung finden können, die keinen Balkon hatte (das klingt verrückt, aber ich hatte keine Sehnsucht nach Balkonien). Also habe ich nun eine Wohnung mit Balkon (und einer schönen Sitzgarnitur) den ich leider noch nicht nutzen kann.
Aber eine geeignete Rampe zum hinlegen wird schon noch kommen - früher oder später - und ich freu mich dann auch wirklich darauf, mich am Balkon Sonnen zu lassen.
Obwohl ich Küche, Wohnen und Schlafen in einem Raum habe, kann ich wirklich alles kochen. Den Geruch bekommt man super leicht nach draußen. Tipp von mir für alle die ebenfalls in einer Garconniere wohnen: Haustüre & Balkontüre gleichzeitig öffnen und durchlüften!
Womit ich aber super zufrieden bin: die Aufteilung der Wohnung. Und die Größe. Alle drei Rollstühle können in der Wohnung sein ohne, dass sie mir im Weg sind.
Und ich habe alles, was ich brauche. Sogar mein geliebtes Klavier (siehe Foto).
Was ich nun noch loswerden möchte: wenn ihr gerade auf Wohnungssuche seit lasst euch nicht unterkriegen. Das richtige wird kommen. Und wenn es rollstuhlgerecht sein muss, dann wird dies auch zu finden sein. Manchmal braucht man eben etwas mehr Zeit.
A little update from my life: It has been a week since I am in my new apartement which is actually a "studio apartement" and I am feeling so happy in here. It is bright, not loud, comfortable, sunny and you can reach everything you'd like to by feet if it's not actually raining.
But you have to know something: even I had to compromise something. When I have been looking for an aparement I didn't actually want to have on with a balcony (sounds crazy, but I am not used to chill on a balcony). However my apartement has a balcony (with a beautiful seating) but I can't use it yet.
However I will get a ramp and I can't wait anymore to get a tan out there.
Even though I do have the kitchen, livingroom and bedroom in one room I can cook anything. You can get the scent out easily. Just open the door from the apartement and the door from the balcony at the same time.
What I am very happy about: how the apartement is divided. And the size of the apartement. All three wheelchairs fit into the apartement. And I do have everything I need, even my piano.
What I would like to add: if you are looking for an apartement right now keep looking. You'll find the perfect apartement. And if it has to be wheelchair accessible you will find something also. Sometimes you just need a bit of time.
