Das Problem mit dem Bus - Using public transport

Hallo & Welcome back.

Ich bin genervt. Ja, sehr sogar. Und all jene, die mir auf Facebook folgen, wissen wieso.
 
Und mittlerweile, habe ich dem zuständigen Fahrdienstleiter eine Mail geschrieben (& noch keine Antwort bekommen).
Darüber, dass die zwei Bushaltestellen dringend verbessert werden müssen. Vor allem deshalb, weil ich auf einem komplett neu gebauten Gelände wohne, dass auch noch barrierfrei ist. Und jetzt kommts: die Bushaltestellen sind es ja irgendwie nicht.
Wer da geplant hat ist mir mal wieder ein Rätsel!

Aber ich bin es ja gewöhnt. Irgendwie beschweren sich die Busfahrer immer bei mir. Vor einigen Monaten, als ich auch mit dieser Linie gefahren bin (und nicht bei dieser Haltestelle aussteigen wollte) wollte dort eine Mutter mit Kinderwagen aussteigen. Die meisten Busfahrer sind bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt nie in die Bushaltestelle eingefahren, aber diesmal tat der Busfahrer es schon. Und er hat nicht herumgemekert. Aber ich bekomme es meist schon ab. Steht bei mir irgendwie drauf: "Bitte abregen?"

Die Stadtwerke und auch alle anderen haben sich da aber die falsche Rollstuhlfahrerin ausgesucht. Denn ich halte nicht den Mund. Ich rege mich direkt bei den zuständigen Stellen auf, und wenn es sein muss, geh ich auch an die Öffentlichkeit damit (so wie jetzt).

So oder so ist das Busfahren noch lange nicht barrierefrei. Das fängt allein damit an, dass man immer, wenn man mal bei einer Haltestelle aussteigen will wo man noch nie ausgestiegen ist, den Busfahrer fragen muss, ob man dort überhaupt raus kommt. - Das müssen die Fußgänger nicht; sie steigen einfach aus.
Oder oftmals ist es so, dass man zwar rauskommt, aber dann von der Bushaltestelle nicht mehr runter.

Und nun soll ich also, bei zwei Bushaltestellen die ich nun wahrscheinlich fast täglich nutzen werde da sie vor meiner Haustüre sind, auf andere Haltestellen ausweichen? Im Jahr 2016? - NEIN DANKE!


About two weeks ago I posted something on my Facebookpage - but only in german. Here's what happened: I moved into my new place and since than I am living on a completely barrier-free area. BUT there are some problems with the bus-stops. In front and behind them they made parking spots. And now the bigger busses can't drive into the bus-stops. Lucky me that I am usually using the little one. But even for those busses it is hard to drive into the bus-stop. That's why they usually don't do it if no one with a disability would like to get in or out of the bus.

However I drove with the bus a few times now and wanted to get in or out of the bus at one of these two bus-stops. Some of the bus-drivers then complained and told me, that it is not very easy for them to get in this bus-stop and asked me to use another one. Uhm - no?!
Unfortunatley they catched up with me; the girl who makes everything public and also gets in contact with the responsible centre.

What I don't get is: I once was in the bus when a mother wanted to get out exactly at this bus-stop. She had a baby buggy with her (of course) and the bus-driver didn't complain; he just drove into the bus-stop. However I also saw it a few times that the bus didn't drive into the stop and the parents had to get out anyways - but with an electronical wheelchair this is just impossible!

Driving with the bus in Klagenfurt won't be barrier-free very soon anyways. However I want the stations I use each day to be barrier-free. I do have to ask the bus-driver anyways if a station is barrier-free or not whenever I want to get out some station I am using for the very first time. But be careful: even if you can get out it doesn't mean that you can get away from the bus-stop.

And now I should use two different bus-stops even if I have two in front of my new place? Even if we have the year 2016? - NO THANK YOU!
