First I would like to translate the title for my english-speaking readers: Why going to parties should be barrier-free (Daily situations with a wheelchair)
Ja viele werden sich denken "Toll es geht schon wieder um das feiern" aber keine Sorge, nächste Woche kommt wieder was anderes.
Und zwar sieht es so aus, dass ich vergangenen Samstag das erste Mal mit meinem neuen und super starken, tollen, geilen, elektronischen Rollstuhl auf eine Party gegangen bin.
Die Party war nämlich auf der Uni und so wusste ich, dass ich dort auf jedenfall klar kommen werde. Auch was den Toilettengang betrifft.
Und so bin ich einfach zu dem Entschluss gekommen dir mal 5 Gründe zu nennen, warum jede Party und somit auch jede Disco/Bar/etc. barrierefrei sein sollte INKLUSIVE einem BehindertenWC:
- Alle sprechen von Inklusion. In meinem Alter gehört zu Inklusion AUCH auf Parties gehen
- Wenn es kein BehindertenWC gibt, können viele oft nicht lange auf einer Party bleiben denn durch alkoholische Getränke muss man nun mal öfter und auch schneller auf die Toilette
- Wenn die Parties behindertengerecht sind tun sich Freunde von Behinderten auch leichter mal zu sagen "Komm doch einfach mit"
- Mehr Behinderte = Mehr Gäste = Mehr Umsatz
- Nicht jeder ist so "leicht" wie ich und deshalb kann man nicht jeden einfach so rumtragen!

It was just this weekend when I went out with my new and very talented, electronical wheelchair. The party was at the university so I knew that there won't be any real problems and we went there with the new wheelchair. And so I thought it would be a good idea to list 5 reasons why every disco/bar/etc. should be barrier-free including a barrier-free toilet:
- Everybody is talking about inclusion. And in my age going to parties is one part of inclusion.
- If there are now barrier-free toilets people with a handicap can't stay very long because of course you need to go to a toilet when you drink alcohol.
- If the parties would be barrier-free friends from disabled people would have it easier to just say "Come with us"
- More people with a handicap = More guests = More sales
- Not everybody is as thin as me which mean you can not carry around everyone!
