Meine Beine - My legs

Hallo & Welcome back.

Mit gut einem Tag Verspätung komme ich nun endlich dazu, diesen Blogpost zu schreiben.

Es geht mir heute um meine Beine; oder besser meine Selbstständigkeit; oder noch besser: Meinen E-Rollstuhl!
Ich war am Wochenende wieder in der Heimat. OHNE E-Rollstuhl :( und wir waren am Berg (wie am Foto unschwer zu erkennen) und da ist mir einfach aufgefallen, wie wenig ich diesen Rollstuhl missen möchte.
Das klingt verrückt - ich weiß! Aber ich bin nun einmal beeinträchtigt und weiß, dass es vorerst keine Heilungsmöglichkeiten gibt. Das heißt wiederrum auch, dass der Rollstuhl mein täglicher Begleiter ist. Und nein, ich bin eben NICHT AN DEN ROLLSTUHL GEFESSELT!
Im Gegenteil: Er hilft mir dahin zu kommen wo ich hin möchte. Er ist für mich das, was für andere Beine sind. Und was ist daran bitte schlecht?
Und wisst ihr, am Wochenende ist mir eben wieder aufgefallen, wie blöd es ohne diesen E-Rollstuhl wäre. Ich könnte nirgends alleine hin. Ja ohne meinen Rollstuhl wäre ich gefesselt; aber nicht mit ihm.

Und nun hab ich eine Frage: Mein Aktivrollstuhl hat den Namen "Wheely" von mir bekommen. Mein Rollstuhl mit Motor den Namen "Greeny". Und nun gibt es den großen E-Rollstuhl der auch einen Namen braucht - her mit euren Vorschlägen!



So I know I am one day later than usual but that is okey.

Today I'd like to talk about my legs; or let's call it independence; or even better: My electronical Wheelchair!

I was home this weekend. Without my electronical wheelchair :( and we were around in the mountains (as you can tell by the picture) and that's when I realised how I wouldn't want to miss this wheelchair.
I know that sounds crazy! But I am handicapped and I know that there won't be solutions. And that means that the wheelchair will be my daily companion. And no, I AM NOT TIED INTO MY WHEELCHAIR! 
The opposite is that the wheelchair helps me to get to places I want. He for me is what others call their legs. And what is bad about that?
And you know? This weekend I realised again, how stupid it'd be without this electronical wheelchair. I couldn't go anywhere on my own. I would be tied to my bed without the wheelchair.

And now I have got a question for u: I gave my active wheelchair the name "Wheely". My green Wheelchair which has battery is called "Greeny". And now we have got this big electronical Wheelchair who needs a name - so tell me what comes on your mind!
