Was macht ihr eigentlich wenn es regnet? Geht ihr dann noch raus - wenn ihr mit Rollstuhl unterwegs seid? Ich muss ja!
Bevor ich Lychee hatte klappte das mit dem rausgehen beim Regen ganz gut. Da ich mit E-Rollstuhl unterwegs bin hatte ich eine Hand frei um den Regenschirm zu halten.
Doch mit Lychee habe ich keine Hand mehr frei - FAIL!
Natürlich wusste ich vorher, dass rausgehen im Regen schwierig werden könnte; aber jetzt weiß ich erst, wie schwierig es wirklich sein kann.
Doch ich habe eine Lösung gefunden - und ich habe von vielen anderen Rollstuhlfahrern gelesen die auch alleine mit ihrem Hund spazieren gehen wenn es regnet.
Ihr könntet euch einen Regenponcho überwerfen; für mich war das eine eher schlechte Lösung da der immer in den Reifen hängen geblieben ist und meine Beine nie ganz "zugedeckt" waren.
Aber es gibt auch eine andere Lösung. Die meisten von euch haben wahrscheinlich eine Regenjacke zu Hause, oder? Dann fehlt doch nur noch die Regenhose! Ich habe beides bei Hofer gekauft - aber auf Amazon findet ihr sicher was.
Und dann braucht man auch keinen Regenschirm mehr!
What do you do if it is raining? Are you still going out - even with a wheelchair? I have to!
Before I got Lychee I had no problems with going out. As I do have an electronical wheelchair I always had one hand free in which I had my umbrella.
But since Lychee I don't have any hand free anymore - FAIL!
Of course I knew that before; but since I have her I know how hard it can really be.
But I've found a solution - and I've read from many wheelchair-useres that they also go out on their own - even if it is raining and they have a dog.
First of all you can get a poncho. For me that wasn't the best solution as it always got stuck in my wheels and it was too short so that some parts of my legs were still wet after going out.
But there is another solution. I guess most of you do have a cagoule at home. So now you only need a pair of trousers especially for rain. I got both at Hofer - but you can find both on Amazon for sure.
And so you don't need an Umbrella anymore!
