#TeamLandL: Nicht hüpfen - Don't jump

Wenn ihr meiner Lychee auf Instagram folgt wisst ihr, dass sie schön am wachsen ist.

Nun ja, Lychee ist klein und will natürlich alles ausprobieren. Aber es gibt Regeln!
Eine Regel ist vorerst, dass sie nicht hüpfen soll! Klar möchte ich, dass meine Lychee später mal alleine auf meinen Schoß hüpft - aber jetzt ist sie noch zu jung dafür.

Sie würde es zwar probieren - und ich kenne viele Hundebesitzer die ihren Welpen von Anfang an hüpfen lassen; aber seit euch dann darüber im klaran, dass das nicht gut für die Gelenke ist.
Genau deshalb lasse ich Lychee nicht hüpfen. Sie wird zum Assistenzhund ausgebildet - und vor allem da muss sie topfit sein.
Man sagt auch, dass wenn man einen Hund erst dann hüpfen lässt wenn er ausgewachsen ist dass er dafür länger hüpfen kann - bis ins hohe Alter!

Das frühe auf- und abhüpfen kann auch zu einer Hüftdysplasie oder ähnlichem führen.

Jetzt wisst ihr, war meine Lychee nicht hüpfen darf.
Dann aber eine Frage an euch: dürfen eure Welpen auf- und abhüpfen? Oder ab wann durfe oder Hund hüpfen?

Well, Lychee is still a puppy and she'd love to try out everything. But there are some rules!
And one of these rules is, that Lychee should not jump! Of course Lychee should jump when she is grown out - so that she can get on my lap on her own.

My puppy would love to jump already - and I know many people which let their puppies jump from the first day they have them. But they should know that this can be quite bad for the puppies joint.
That's also why I don't want Lyhcee to jump - at least not yet. She should become my assistancedog one day and these dogs have to be super-healthy.
They also say, that if you don't let your dog jump as a puppy your dog will jump until he/she is really old already!

If a puppy is jumping up and down it can cause a congenital dislocation of hip.

Now you know why Lychee is not allowed to jump around.
So now there is a question for all of you: are you puppies allowed to jump around? Or when did you allow your dog to jump?
