Reisen mit dem Zug einfach gemacht, oder? - A trip by train, easy or?

Das heutige Thema ist einfach sehr wichtig weil es von der OEBB immer wieder heißt, dass man ohne Probleme mit dem Zug reisen kann auch wenn man eine Beeinträchtigung hat.
Nun ja, so problemlos ist es dann doch nicht!

Man muss dafür erstmal wissen, dass man bei der Hotline anrufen muss um sich die Assistenz zu bestellen. Das muss man zusätzlich auch noch 24h VOR der Abfahrt des Zugs machen. Wenn man das gemacht hat, sollte es eigentlich keine Probleme geben weil man ja alles gemacht hat was die von einem verlangen.

Ich bin nun 2x von Klagenfurt nach Wien gefahren und auch wieder zurück. Ich war immer zum ausgemachten Zeitpunkt am richtigen Ort. In Klagenfurt gab es auch nie Probleme.
In Wien jedoch schon.
Bei der ersten Ankunft kam niemand von den Assistenten; zum Glück war der Schaffner gleich da und hat uns rausgeholfen. Bei der Abfahrt einige Tage später kam einfach niemand zum ausgemachten Treffpunkt - ich meldete mich dann beim Infopoint, wartete einige Minuten und dann spazierten wir selbst zum Zug. Dort war der Schaffner da und kurz vor der Abfahrt kamen auch die Assistenten, aber da war ich schon drin.
Bei der zweiten Ankunft kamen die Assistenten ebenfalls nicht; auch der Schaffner ging einfach. Wäre ich alleine unterwegs gewesen hätte ich ewig warten müssen. Ich war aber mit einer Freundin unterwegs und die hat dann jemanden geholt. Zum Glück. Auch bei der Abfahrt war wieder niemand da.

Ich habe mich schon nach der ersten Fahrt über ein Online-Formular beschwert. Zurück kam nur, dass sie ihre Mitarbeiter nun mehr darauf schulen werden.
Nach der zweiten Fahrt habe ich mich telefonisch, über das soziale Netzwerk Facebook, und über das Online Kontaktformular beschwert. Mittlerweile wollten sie meine damalige Auftragsnummer der Reservierungen haben und nun gehen sie dem Fall nach.

Ich habe mich beschwert, weil ich das einfach nicht akzeptieren kann. Man soll doch mit dem Zug auch alleine reisen können - dafür machen sie immer wieder Werbung - aber so funktioniert das echt nicht.


Today's subject is simply very important because austrian's trainservice OEBB is saying over and over again that you should have no problems traveling by train even if you are handicapped.
Nevertheless it is not that easy.

You have to know that you have to call the hotline to order the assistance. In addition you have to do this 24hours before taking the train. If you did that you shouldn't have any problems.

Now I have gone from Klagenfurt to Vienna and also back two times. I've always been where they asked me to be at the time they told me to. There were no problems in Klagenfurt. However I had problems in Vienna.
At the first arrival nobody came; I had luck that the conductor has been there and did not forget me. Some days later at the departure again no one came. I went into the infopoint to tell them that I am waiting, went out again and then went to the train on my own. There was a conductor who helped us but the assistance came only a few minutes before the train started and I was already in it.
At the second arrival again nobody came; also the conductor went away. If I would have been in the train on my own I would have been there for ever. But my friend went out to look for someone who then helped us. Also at the departure one day later nobody came.

I already complained after the first journey over an online form. They wrote me back that they would train their employees better now. 
After the second journey I complained over the telephone hotline, the social network Facebook, and over the Online form once more. Meanwhile they already wanted to have my order number to look for the problem.

I have complained because I cannot simply accept what happend. However it is not true that you can use the train without any problems on your own if you are handicapped - but that also depends on the train station.
