Heute gibt es ein paar Bilder zu meinem Ausflug zum Venice Beach & Santa Monice Pier UND den Universal Studios in Hollywood.
Dazu eine kleine und nette Erfahrung vom Santa Monice Pier:
In den Universal Studios ist das Parken ja nicht gerade billig - 40$ für das Parken ganz nah beim Eingang - aber da wir den europäischen Ausweis hinhielten mussten wir nur 16$ zahlen, bekamen ein Blatt mit einem Rollstuhl drauf, und durften ganz nach vorne fahren.
Außerdem gibt es in den Universal Studios ja immer Figuren mit denen man sich fotografieren lassen kann & oft gibt es da lange Schlangen. Ich durfte aber immer vor & das finde ich wirklich nett :)
Wir waren in einem Lokal wo wir nach dem Essen auch auf die Toilette gingen. Und dort trafen wir eben auf eine Junge Dame (20-25 Jahre) die uns beide Türen, also die Eingangstür zum WC und die Tür zur behindertengerechten Toilette aufgehalten hat. Natürlich haben wir uns einige male bedankt und dann sagte sie aufeinmal: "Wir müssen uns auf dieser Welt gegenseitig helfen" & wir haben wieder Danke gesagt und sie dann so "Das sollte doch normal sein!" - Ich habe wirklich großen Respekt vor ihr; ich meine WER hat mit diesem Alter schon so eine Einstelllung? :)

Parking at the Universal Studios is quite expensive - 40$ for parking next to the entrance - but we showed them my parking permit from Europe and then we had to pay 16$ and were still able to park very close to the entrance + we got a sheet of paper with a wheelchair on it.
AND you know that you can take pictures with different figures out of movies so normally you have to form a line BUT I never had to wait & that is very nice :)
I had a really nice experience at a restaurant at the Santa Monice Pier:
There was a young lady (20-25 Years) which opened us two doors to the Toilet. We said THANK YOU a thousand times until she said "We have to help each other in this world" & "This should be normal". I have a big respect towards this lady; she's so young but has a great view of today's world.
