Ausgehen in Klagenfurt - Night out in Klagenfurt

Bevor ich zum eigentlichen Thema komme möchte ich kurz noch etwas loswerden:
Ich darf morgen mit meinem Praktikum starten und freue mich schon riesig. Ich weiß nun nicht, wie viel Zeit mir mit meinem Blog bleiben wird UND inwiefern sich die Blogposts mit dem Arbeitsthemen überschneiden würden - deshalb weiß ich auch nicht was in den nächsten 4 Wochen passieren wird. Also was die Themen hier sein werden usw.
Aber bleibt auf jedenfall dran.

Also ich greife nun auf ein ganz aktuelles Thema zurück.
Ich war am Freitag mit einer Freundin in der Stadt. Wir hatten zwar einiges geplant, aber es kam doch alles anders.
Auf jedenfall gibt es in Klagenfurt eine Disco / Bar, in welche man erst ab 21 rein darf. Es gibt da aber auch ganz viele Gäste, die unter 21 sind. Das liegt einfach am Türsteher. Auch ich war schon drin und es hat einfach mega viel Spaß gemacht, weil dort drin ist es einfach mit dem Rollstuhl einfacher als in anderen Bars. Am Eingang sind zwar Stufen, aber drin gibt es nur mehr eine einzige Stufe welche man überwinden muss um aufs WC zu kommen und diese ist sehr niedrig. Also eigentlich ganz ok.
Aber: der neue Türsteher hat mich schon zwei Mal abgewiesen. Nicht, weil ich noch nicht 21 bin (er wollte nicht einmal den Ausweis sehen), sondern wegen dem Rollstuhl. Von ihm kommen, sobald er mich sieht, so Aussagen wie: "Also mit dem Rollstuhl lass ich dich hier nicht rein; ist viel zu gefährlich. Wenn da was passiert bin ich Schuld."

Nun möchte ich sagen, dass wir dann in eine andere Disco / Bar gegangen sind. Dort gibt es noch mehr Stufen, einige davon sogar in der Bar selbst! Aber: die Barkeeper helfen uns immer; und wenn eine Security da ist helfen die uns eben. Da gibt es einfach gar keine Probleme obwohl es weniger barrierefrei ist als manch andere Bars.

Auf jedenfall möchte ich eine Bar doch beim Namen nennen: SPEKTAKEL.
Wir waren dort, weil uns ein Securitytyp den Tipp gegeben hat, dass die Bar relativ barrierefrei ist (es gibt KEIN BehidnertenWC). Also hat er uns dort hin begleitet weil wir nicht wussten wo es ist. Also dort drin ist es echt nett, und vom Alter her war es relativ durchgemischt. Trotzdem denke ich, dass dort normalerweise mehr jüngere Leute sind (unter 18).

Ich bin nun echt enttäuscht. Diese Barriere besteht oft echt nur in den Köpfen der Menschen. Wenn ich darüber nachdenke, in wie vielen Discotheken ich schon war welche gar nicht barrierefrei waren, versteh ich einfach nicht warum sich einige so dagegen sträuben, mich einfach reinzulassen! Sie müssten mir gar nicht helfen; da sind wir meist eh genug Leute. Klar, die eine Bar ist erst ab 21. Aber ich war schon drin, und Freunde von mir auch. Außerdem hatte er mich die letzten beiden Male nicht einmal nach dem Ausweis gefragt sondern mich gleich abgelehnt.


This is just a very actual theme which came to my mind this weekend as I went out with a friend.
We planned the night out a little bit but it all came different (as always).

I try to keep this as short as possible.

There is one bar in Klagenfurt which you are usally not allowed to go in when you arn't 21. 
However I was in there before and there are a lot of guests under 21. It depends on the doorman.
The last two times I went there he didn't even ask me for the ID; he saw me in the wheelchair and said things like: "I won't let you go in with the wheelchair; it is too dangerous and if something happens I am responsible for it."
Of course I was and am still pissed.

So we always go to different bars then. And there is one which has more steps than the one I just talked about, but they are always helping us. Not only the doorman, but also the barkeeper.

However if you are ever coming to Klagenfurt and looking for a barrier-free bar I can recommend SPEKTAKEL.
The bar is barrier-free but there is no real barrier-free toilet. All in all it is still a nice bar and there are people of mixed ages in there. But I guess usually there are more of the teens in there (under 18!).

I am kind of disappointed. This barrier sometimes only exists in the brain of the people.
I can think of so many bars I have been in which were not barrier-free at all but I had no problem. I just can't understand why some people try to resist handicapped people in their locations.
I know, this bar is for people over 21. But I was in there before and some of my friends too. Also he didn't even ask for my ID the last two times, he just saw the wheelchair and didn't let me go in anymore.

Leben im Hotel - Living in a hotel

Hallo & Welcome back.

Ich hab in einen der letzten 3 Blogposts angedeutet, dass ich in einem Hotel lebe.
JA das tu ich auch wirklich.

Die Situation ist so: Bei meinem Studentenheim gibt es ein 9-Monats-Heim und ein 12-Monats-Heim. Leider gibt es im 12-Monats-Heim keine barrierefreien Zimmer und somit musste ich entweder zurück nach Hermagor oder mit dem Hotel im 9-Monats-Heim eine Lösung finden.
Wir haben eine Lösung gefunden (die ich nicht ganz fair finde) und somit wohne ich nun im Hotel.

1. Allein
Was ich am blödesten am Hotelleben finde ist, dass die Gemeinschaftsküche ganz mir gehört. Ich meine ja, jetzt ist sie immer sauber, aber es ist einfach total langweilig und ruhig dort. Mein Glück ist, dass ich so gut wie immer mit meinen Assistentinnen in der Küche bin und somit ist es dann auch nicht so leise

2. Staubsauger
Man hört jeden morgen mind. 10x den Staubsauger. Das ist echt ungewöhnlich, so wird während dem Semester nie geputzt. Und das traurigste ist: Mein Zimmer wird nicht von den Reinigungskräften geputzt :( das müssen noch immer meine Assistentinnen machen.

3. Wer bist du?
Das nächste ist, das man einfach niemanden kennt. Die Gäste kommen und gehen. Außerdem nervt es echt, dass manchmal bis spät in die Nacht laut gelacht wird und ich mich nicht einfach dazusetzen kann weil ich kenn die ja nicht!

Aber alles in allem bin ich froh, hier bleiben zu dürfen.
Ich habe meine Freunde in Klagenfurt und ich habe den See sozusagen vor meiner Haustüre. Ich möchte das im Moment nicht mehr missen.



If you've read one of my last blogpost you may have seen that I wrote something about the fact, that I am living in a hotel right now.
And YES I do so.

Here is a little explanation: In the students dormitory where I live in we have to parts. The 9-Months-part and the 12-Months-part. Since there are no barrier-freee rooms in the 12-Months-part I had to leave Klagenfurt during summertime or find a solution including the hotel. We found a solution (which I don't think of as really fair) and so I am living in a hotel right now.

1. Alone
The first crazy and weird thing is using a common kitchen all alone. I mean yeah, now it is clean but it is still a little bit scary sometimes when I am there in the morning to have breakfast. However most of the times when I go in the kitchen I have my assistance with me so I am never really alone.

2. Hoover
It is so crazy to hear the Hoover every morning at least 10 times. During the semester the house never gets cleaned like that. And it is a sad fact that my room doesn't get cleaned. I mean yeah, my assistance still cleans it for me.

3. Who are you?
It is kind of sad to have neighbours you don't know. I am not used to that anymore! And also I hear them listening to music until 2 o'clock in the morning and I can not just go there for partying with them.

All in all I am happy that I could stay here.
I have some of my friends here in Klagenfurt and the lake is, proverbial, in front of the house. I wouldn't want to miss that right now.

Catrice Ultra Stay & Gel Shine Review

Heute ist es wieder Zeit für einen beauty-related-blogpost.

Meine Assistentin hat mich auf die zwei Produkte aufmerksam gemacht welche ich mir dann vor einigen Wochen bei DM gekauft habe.
Beide kosten jeweils 3,45€ aber sie sind auf jedenfall eine Investition wert.

Angeblich soll der Nagellack bis zu 8 Tage halten. Das kann ich leider nicht versichern da ich nie so lange den gleichen Nagellack trage.
Ihr solltet wissen, dass ihr dafür keinen Catrice Nagellack braucht. Das funktioniert mit jedem anderen Nagellack auch.
Derzeit trage ich zum Beispiel seit 5 Tagen einen pinken Nagellack von Kiko und es hält einwandfrei.

It's called Catrice Ultra Stay & Gel Shine Base Coat + Top Coat.
Each of them cost 3,45€.

If you believe Catrice than your nailpolish should stay for 8 days with these two products. I am not sure about that because I never use the same nailpolish for 8 days.
However you don't need Catrice nailpolishes for these two products. It works with every nailpolish.
I am wearing a pink nailpolish from Kiko since 5 days now.
